This FREE, online, 8-week exercise program is specifically for caregivers of people with Parkinson’s and is led by Dr. Michael Braitsch, PT, DPT, of Tribe Wellness.
This is a great opportunity for caregivers to connect with others, share stories, exchange tips, and stay in shape with different exercises each week.
Exercise "types" will vary in each of the 8 weeks. Everything covered can easily be modified to work around pain and to avoid flaring up old injuries. Classes will change in focus each week and will include an introduction to body weight training, weight lifting (light weights), high intensity interval training (HIIT), mindful mat exercises (similar to yoga and pilates), Tai Chi, and non-contact boxing.
