Padraig O’Suilleabhain, M.D., is a Professor in the Department of Neurology and Neurotherapeutics at UT Southwestern Medical Center and specializes in the treatment of movement disorders. He attended medical school at Trinity College Dublin, followed by neurology residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN, as well as fellowships in movement disorders and clinical investigation. He joined the faculty of UT Southwestern in 1998, where he is now a Professor in Neurology and Neurotherapeutics in the area of Parkinson disease and movement disorders.
His research interests include new drug treatments in PD and related conditions, and the physiology of dystonia. Dr. O’Suilleabhain has served as residency program director, and as medical director of the neurology clinics. He is currently a mentor in the medical student colleges program, and on the board of the UTSW Medical Group.
